Flash back to 1967 when DJ’s father arrives in Baltimore with his doomed English country rock band; things don’t go as quite as planned.
Flash forward to 1990, DJ returns to London, blending, not always seamlessly, into British society whilst navigating his way through several barman jobs with a fake English accent in search of his missing-in-action cousin, Ian.
At the heart of this sprawling epic is, essentially, a bi-racial love story set in the turbulent 60’s and 70’s, and a cat-and-mouse caper set in the ‘90s and ‘20’s.
